How is an LVL done?

The lashes are lifted from the root and set in place over a silicone pad before having a 3-step system applied just beyond the root of the lashes only. It takes around 45 minutes from start to finish and a tint is also included. A patch test at least 24 hours before your treatment is required.

Is there any aftercare advice for LVL lash lifts? 

Yes, its very important to ensure the lashes do not get wet for at least 24 hours post treatment. The advice is to avoid having a shower, bath, swimming, going to the gym or entering a sauna or steam room. If the lashes get wet or are close to steam, it can cause the lash lift to drop. It needs 24 hours to set fully. Once the 24 hrs has passed you can resume as before. Most do not need to use mascara, however it is safe to do so once the 24 hours has passed.

An LVL lasts for 6-8 weeks, however some clients can get up to 12 weeks! You can have a lash tint done in between appointments too so that the lashes stay nice and dark.
